This is a sport that can be taken up whatever the ability level of the individual and is particularly suited to those with physical disabilities or mobility problems - if you can walk or use a wheelchair, you can probably shoot! A SPORT FULL OF HISTORY
From the beginning of the Middle Ages, Archery was used, not only as a means of encouraging competition but also to provide one of the key elements of our national fighting force. The English archer was one of the most feared elements on the battlefield and helped to win some of the major conflicts against our enemies. We don't intend to take on the world just yet, but we do want to try and re-kindle the elements of competition and fair play that are some of the more endearing facets of this sport.
